I keep a quote from him by my desk at work - "All I want is for the human race to keep a room for me." There are so few in the world who will carry this conversation for days, about the type of room, if they'd give him a bed, would the human race make him come in through a separate entrance, would he have a kitchenette or would he eat out.

I loved Jim for the millions of ideas he gave me and his desire to delve into them, regardless of logical conclusion or solution. My world feels so small right now. But I still have my copy of Finnegan's Wake to explore, there's nothing to stop me from traveling the world as a warrior monk, all those ideas he sparked - I'll keep exploring.

The human race always had a room for Jim - and always will.

(I just found out 2 days ago about losing him and feel such pain and heartbreak and am thankful for the sharing of thoughts and memories and cannot wait to celebrate him with friends tonight)
