Penn Jillette is best known for his edgy and dangerous-yet-humorous magic acts with his traditionally silent partner Teller. As a writer, he brings a similar bizarre wit to this offbeat yarn of a pair of traveling musicians who finance their super-hero adventures by cheating fellow musicians at cards. Their moral code, however, compels them to make amends for their card-sharking, anonymously of course. Itâs not exactly clear what their powers are, since all their adventures happen off-camera, but they do wear costumes and apparently do some sort of good deeds.
