In the lead Black Hood feature "The Dark Destroyer" a radiation monster terrorizes the locals in a southwest desert town. Story by Gary Cohn. Art by the great Pat Boyette. The Black Hood steps out again in "Candle in the Wind" by Rich Margopoulos and Dan Spiegle. Rounding things up is "The Fox" by Alex Toth While on holiday in Morocco, the Fox notices someone following him and his friend Cosmo Gilly. After a little investigation, the Fox puts the pieces together to realize it is Cosmo's wife and his brother who want Cosmo's dead, so they can continue their affair and inherit his insurance policy.
The Black Hood was published as an ongoing series from Archie Comics Red Circle line from June 1983 to October 1983. Alex Toth provided cover art for all three and a Fox adventure for the final two.
