Nearly forty years into their storied career, Atlantaโs Drivin N Cryin has announced their newest album. Crushing Flowers, out April 10, is a raw, melodic chapter that trades Southern rock tropes for honest songwriting. Produced by Sadler Vaden, the record features guest spots from Peter Buck and the late Todd Snider.
The standout single, "Mirror Mirror," is an unflinching look at memory and heredity, born from Kinneyโs personal experiences with his motherโs Alzheimerโs. The track features the vulnerable, human-first storytelling that has made the band a staple of Southern rock since the mid-80s.
