The band released an eponymous "incognito" album, "The Red Locusts," in March 2021. The album was a tribute to The Beatles and power pop bands of the 1980s and 1990s. RIFF Magazine called their 1st album a "masterclass in power-pop" in 2021, and now Rick Springfield (aka The Artist Formerly Known as Paul Ramone) admits to his affinity for such by openly fronting this second homage to The Who, The Raspberries, and everything in between! Now known as The Locustz, Mr. Springfield and the Bissonette brothers have dropped the stealth approach, fully embracing their power pop chops, ready for the world to celebrate the buzz!
