Nard N' Pat #2
Nard N' Pat #2
Jay Lynch's classic Nard N' Pat comics collected from Bijou Funnies, Gothic Blimp Works and The Conspiracy. It's a sometimes funky, sometimes street-wise version of the problems people have relating to their pets and each other. Nard, a goofy looking guy with a long nose, is the owner of Pat, a kitty cat. When Nard's wife, Vera, left him, he bought Pat at the suggestion of his analyst. Nard is conservative and Pat is radical. They talk to each other, yet neither listens to what the other says. In their relationship, Nard is easily the most humiliated. These are classic funny animal comics from the golden days of underground publishing. Additional art by Gary Arlington and Rory Hayes (Stairway of Doom three page strip); and Gary Whitney. Cover art by Pete Poplaski.
